From Capalbio To Ansedonia

An interesting itinerary of 13 km to get closer to the Argentario da Capalbio and the Maremma hills. You start at the foot of the hills, wander around Poggio Capalbiaccio and head south across the Aurelia. Continue a short distance from the sea to the Tagliata and the remains of the port of Cosa from which you climb to Ansedonia and the Etruscan-Roman acropolis where you can visit the National Archaeological Museum and the archaeological area of the ancient City of Cosa.
